Artwalk Wakefield
Wednesday 27 November 2019
For the last Artwalk of 2019, 17 venues participated hosting free workshops, talks, classes, exhibitions, performances and more.
The Hepworth Wakefield, The Gissing Centre, Theatre Royal Wakefield, Westgate Chapel, Wakefield Museum, The Art House and Westgate Studios, just to name a few, all opened their doors to the public on Wednesday 27th November with a truly varied programme of events.
Visitors could have a go at metal embossing with artist Rosie Booth, learn more about the history of the Theatre Royal Wakefield at a behind the scenes tour, enjoy sounds of the Shamisen & Koto with Michael Graham, and see the work of international artists Cole Ndelu & Dimple B Shah at The Art House.
You can see the full list of events by downloading the map.
